Container gardens from The Captured Garden are the result of a quest for the unexpected. Uncommon plant material requires a trip off the beaten path, down a long winding New England dirt road to a plant grower who is known to only a few. The Captured Garden always goes the extra mile (and then some) to find the newest, most unusual plants for our clients. However, it’s not enough to be different; plant material must be healthy, too. Choosing only the highest quality plants guarantees our containers will grow lush and healthy all season long.

Garden Design

Too many garden designs are predictable. Why settle for two green “meatballs” flanking the front steps, overgrown, tired plants and the same old cultivars? Whether we are designing a foundation planting, mixed border or woodland retreat we take advantage of the tremendous diversity of plant material that’s available to create a space for our clients that is truly unique.
