The Captured Garden has worked throughout New England creating container gardens, and designing gardens for clients who want their homes to be beautiful, not typical. By using custom designs that showcase uncommon plants we create combinations for our clients that are anything but cookie cutter.

For us, the most important part of the process is listening. After all, it’s not our project — it’s yours. So we ask questions. Do you like contemporary or classic? Foliage or flowers? Or both? Hot colors? Cool colors? Favorite colors? By asking all the right questions we can make sure the project, whether an urn, window box or garden design, truly reflects your style.

Our goal, when the project is completed is to hear “It’s perfect, it’s just what I wanted," followed quickly by “What is that beautiful plant? I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Deborah Trickett, principal of The Captured Garden, has been gardening for over 30 years. She is a Master Gardener and a frequent lecturer on container gardening at The Arnold Arboretum in Boston. Deborah has also demonstrated creative approaches to container gardening at The New England Flower Show.
